Mike Knerr survived his stint as a project manager in the healthcare IT industry and went on launch a career as a freelance writer and content strategist. He is also an avid traveler, hockey fan, and music lover with an academic background in history and a strong proclivity for reading anything and everything he can get his hands on (Twitter is just one long book with no beginning, middle, end, or likeable characters, right?).
Currently, in addition to his full-time gig helping clients craft compelling content and develop killer marketing strategies, he is working to launch a side business dedicated to memory preservation in the form of custom short stories targeted to travelers and couples getting married.
Before starting his own businesses (and before the project management career), Mike spent 4 years at Colgate University reading, writing, and repeating. He also slept occasionally.
He has been to over 25 European cities in 11 different countries, plus 18 of the 30 largest US cities and 5 national parks. He loves all food, but has a strong affinity for Indian and Moroccan cuisines, sushi, and steak. His blood is 30% coffee.
